Name, Image and Likeness: What You Need to Know About NIL
The Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association and the Equity Project Alliance will bring together local experts from the worlds of professional sports, college athletics, finance and law for “Name, Image & Likeness (NIL): What You Need to Know” on Tuesday, October 20, at Brownsville Community Center, 3200 W. De Soto Street.
The community event will explore the opportunities, challenges and real-world impacts of NIL for student-athletes, families, coaches, schools and the community.
The panel features an impressive mix of experience, including Fred Robbins, All-Pro and Super Bowl Champion, UWF Football color analyst and founder of Mr. Robbins Neighborhood; Adron Chambers, former professional baseball player, Pine Forest High School baseball head coach and CEO of SWINGCHAMP56; Dr. Joel Erdmann, retired University of South Alabama Director of Athletics; Jacey Cosentino, CFP®, CEPA®, SE-AWMA®, senior financial advisor with the Cosentino Wealth Management Team at Edward Jones; Brenton Goodman of Levin Papantonio; and Andrew Spencer of Clark Partington.
Doors open and food service (hot dogs, chips, sports drinks and water) begins at 4:30 p.m. The program runs from 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and includes food. The ticket purchase deadline is Thursday, October 15th.
