That “left turn, no signal” feeling is so real. One minute you’re cruising along, music on, windows down, singing loudly – and the next, you’re slamming on the brakes, wondering what just happened. Life is that way – we are going along, and everything seems okay when a left turn happens! In the moment, the feeling is jarring. Sometimes the feeling is deeply painful. At other times, an opportunity appears out of nowhere. Then there are times when a shift occurs in a friendship that causes us to feel loss and unsure.
Truth is, we want to have “the signal” so we can prepare for the next turn.
We’ve all had those “no signal” moments when plans have unraveled, and doors are shut unexpectedly.
